With over 30 years of juice processing experience, Jerry Pantaleo brings a wealth of technical expertise and state-of-the-art processing facilities to Stiebs Pomegranate Products. Pantaleo carries on a family tradition in the fruit and beverage industry that began with the grape and wine processing company, Lamanuzzi & Pantaleo, founded in 1939 by his uncle, his father, and the Lamanuzzi family in Fresno, California.
In 1976, after graduating from California State University, Fresno with a degree in Viticulture and Enology, Pantaleo joined Lamanuzzi and Pantaleo, where he began honing his extensive mechanical and logistical skills. Beginning in packing and shipping, Pantaleo learned the industry from the ground up. From working winters in the raisin division to spearheading the development of new products and conducting outreach to untapped business markets, Pantaleo worked to gain a comprehensive understanding of the modern juice business.
Though skilled in all facets of the juice industry, Pantaleo developed a specialized expertise that helped him design, develop and build a state-of-the-art industrial juice processing facility, Golden Valley Grape Juice and Wine, which was completed in 1998. This highly versatile and responsive plant is the newest pomegranate processing facility in North America and represents the industry gold standard.
As President of Lamanuzzi & Pantaleo and Golden Valley, Jerry Pantaleo was impressed by the dynamic growth of the modern pomegranate industry. Asked by industry veterans Brad Miller and George Stiebs to join the ongoing expansion of Stiebs Pomegranate Products in July of 2005, Jerry brings his technical know-how and world-class processing facilities to Stiebs.
